Past and Current Litchi Research Projects:

    • Past projects on litchi included timing of water stress and fertilizer applications to
manipulate autumn shoot growth for improved flowering, use of plant growth regulators for controlling untimely shoot growth and enforcing shoot dormancy to promote floral induction and initiation during warm winters as well as foliar applications of mineral salts and plant growth regulators to enhance fruit colour and size.
    • Focus areas of her current research on include application of biostimulants to mitigate sunburn and cracking damage on litchi fruit and regenerative orchard practices for climate resilience and sustainable production of subtropical tree crops.
